Who we are?
Founded in 2021, Hope for Silent Sufferers is located at 719 Dauntless Parkway, Elmont, New York 11003. It is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving children, teens, and adults in New York City, nationwide and worldwide. This community of hope was created as a safe space for individuals to confidentially work through issues that negatively impact their lives. All diverse groups are welcome, including the LGBT community, the arts community, and the underprivileged. The staff at Hope for Silent Sufferers are authentic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. They cater to your unique needs while ensuring that you feel supported and cared for.
We are on a mission to improve the lives of individuals, families, and all communities in New York State by raising mental health awareness, ending stigma and discrimination, and promoting wellness and recovery. We are offering one and one counseling sessions with our Pastors/counselors/advisors, group sessions with other silent sufferers, and offering social activities to encourage and boost laughter.
Why choose us?
Multicultural
As an increasing number of clients with diverse backgrounds are opting for counseling, our counselors do also have the multicultural perspective of having an understanding of racial identity. We protect the values of our clients and prohibit the use of societal figures of speech and phrases that trigger ethnic minoritie.
Tele/zoom counseling
With the advancements in cutting-edge technology, our advisors appreciate its use as it is the best alternative to in-person care. If you have a busy routine and want to cut off the problems you face during in-person meetings, this mode of therapy can ease the stigma which is found to be a persistent barrier to individuals and can also reduce travel cost.
